We do recruitment

Yes, we do recruitment, and we believe recruitment is not the stepchild of advertising, but one of its golden-haired sisters. Here are a couple of VERY different examples; “Nurse Power”, a nurse recruitment campaign for a local foundation, and a Diesel tech recruitment effort for a regional equipment dealer.

1) Nurse Power Our strategy was built on addressing two main points:

  1. A) The lack of understanding regarding the depth and breadth of nursing as a career. Few people know the options nurses have in terms of choices and specialization.

  1. B) Identifying and addressing the very different audiences and their needs, including current nurses; second-career types entering nursing later in their life; younger people; recent immigrants.

2) Diesel service technicians. For this assignment we faced some tough challenges:

•The traditional source, local family-owned farms, is drying up.

•Parents want their kids “To do better than they did”, “Not to grow up to turn wrenches”.

•High tech offers kids a very glamorous alternative.

Strategy

We interviewed current techs at every one of the dealer’s locations, and we learned facts about their lifestyle and values that would impact our creative. Then, we developed content for a website that gave a lot of background information regarding the region and the town where each particular dealer location is based. Why?

  1. A) Potential techs are planning to move often with a wife or a girlfriend and/or kids; they need to know what’s there in terms of schools, sports, services and recreation. B) The dealer’s different locations are a key competitive advantage since they offer a great variety – mountains, woods, big cities, small towns, ocean, rivers… C) Websites are easily copied; this one is hard to.
