Race for the Cure
Industry:
Non-profit
Since its inception in 1994, Komen Connecticut Race for the Cure has raised millions of dollars for cancer research, education, screening and treatment. Building on the organization’s very successful history, our goal was to further the impact of the fundraising and educational campaign. Inside Out work for Komen Connecticut Race for the Cure included print ads, direct mail, public relations, brochures, invitations and “town captain kits”. The campaign surpassed previous years' fundraising numbers.
Print Media & Web Media :
Pressroom materials created by Inside Out to give quick background facts on all the aspects of the Connecticut Race for the Cure campaign.
The Pink Gala was a unique fundraising and celebration evening, and it deserved specially designed invitations.
On the way to the big fundraising event, there were numerous other initiatives such as "Color the Pond Pink." Participants purchased a pink duck that was released during a park rally attended by government officials and political figures, kids, moms and dads, the media and the high school band; Inside Out was also there and so was the rain.
Support materials for the Connecticut Race for the Cure were developed to be both warm and direct, easy to read, and heart-pulling.
A special sticker was developed for envelopes and packages addressed to the press.
