Our client is a healthcare foundation committed to addressing the unmet health care needs of the 25 communities in the MetroWest region. Our work began with a strategy presentation; we proposed the overall positioning of the campaign, potential audiences, competitors, message and ways to convey it; the second stage was presenting creative and media choices.

The message was straightforward and the creative, blunt. The urgency was based on health reasons and the call to action was simple and easy to follow. Inside Out felt very strongly about the need to “stop dancing around the issue” and our clients at the MetroWest Community Healthcare Foundation were adamant about not backing out of their position obesity is robbing our kids of their future. The result? A campaign that attracted immediate attention, measured by intense press coverage, and a flood of mail, phone and website visitors.
There's no time for beating around the bush. The billboards around MetroWest said it clearly.
The pediatrician's office is an ideal place to reach parents, and these brochures made it both easier for waiting moms and dads to ask their physician for help...and harder not to do it!!
The MetroWest region has large Spanish-speaking and Portuguese -speaking segments, and talking to them in their language is crucial to making sure the campaign reaches a population whose children are at risk. The Inside Out team was proud to be able to put to work their multicultural background and linguistic abilities to implement this important aspect of the child obesity campaign.
