SolmeteX arsenic removal campaign

You cannot taste it, smell it or see it…but you certainly want to make sure your drinking water doesn’t have it in levels higher than those recommended by the US EPA and the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.
Our client SolmeteX specializes in heavy metal removal solutions, and sells its products and systems through a network of distributors. This campaign was directed to a specific area in New Jersey, where studies had shown unusually high levels of arsenic in groundwater.
The components of this successful initiative included an especially created website; a direct mail campaign; a free testing program; and database development.

Since the direct mail “hit the street”, a total of 173 people have signed-up for test kits; that’s a 2.7% response rate!

We’ve logged 838 visits to the site–318 of them were unique visitors–and 3,101 page views.
Database management
Sure, getting leads from your direct mail and attracting visitors to your site and getting people to send test tubes is all a lot of fun. Very exciting. When it comes to managing the fulfillment, tracking the responses, keeping tabs on sent and received tubes, where the tests are, when the results are sent back and by whom…that’s when an ordinary advertising agency gracefully bows out and waves bye-bye. Not Inside Out Communications though! We created a customized database management program that made even the most recalcitrant operation gurus at SolmeteX smile.
