Hermes Creative Awards recognize outstanding work in the industry. This year, Inside Out Communications received the platinum award, the gold award and an honorable mention. According to the organizers, the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, there were over 3,000 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the 2007 Hermes Creative Awards competition.
"We went into the competition with three very different entries," comments Inside Out creative director, Matt Lynch, as he describes them, "the MetroWest Community Health Care Foundation childhood obesity awareness campaign, the Mount Auburn Hospital employee fundraising initiative and a Milton CAT forestry product brochure." Lynch comments how in its own unique way, each entry typifies the Inside Out approach to communications–sophisticated and functional.
AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. Winners of the Hermes Creative Awards were selected from 136 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts.
Awarded the platinum award, the childhood obesity awareness campaign that Inside Out Communications developed and implemented for the MetroWest Community Health Care Foundation is a hard-hitting effort that includes billboards, TV spots and print. The Mount Auburn campaign, winner of the gold award, is an ambitious, three-year employee fund raising initiative that actually reached and surpassed its goals in the first year. An honorable mention was awarded to the forestry product brochure developed by Inside Out Communications for long time client Milton CAT, the Northeast Caterpillar dealer.
