Once again. we’re living up to our name and our philosophy, and committed to the importance of internal communications. Inside Out Communications’ client Milton CAT was running a series of 401 Fidelity workshops for their employees. Retirement is an interesting subject – and the one we all want to pretend doesn’t exist. Actually, Fidelity personnel had commented that when giving this talk to employees at other companies, they get single digit percentages of attendance – best case scenario.
That did it! Right away we all became highly competitive. Bets were exchanged between the Milton CAT and the Inside Out teams regarding what the ratio of attendance would be at “our” event, and Inside Out poured extra creativity in developing the components of the event package – direct mail, posters and reminders.
Well, Matt Lynch is a careful bettor, and in this case, a lucky one. Yes, our very own creative director was the winner, predicting a 30% attendance! 679 Milton CAT employees were invited, 239 showed up and Matt got a $10 Dunkin Donuts Gift Card compliments of Milton CAT. (He is not sharing.)
