Dream big.

Milford Regional Medical Center was holding their annual fundraising event at the headquarters of the Caterpillar dealership. The hospital retained our agency to develop a theme, and once that was approved by the committee, to create all the literature, invitations, programs and posters to promote the gala. The previous year’s fundraising had been particularly successful, and we were under pressure to make ours, much, much better. Which we did. The total gross proceeds, $694,090, were large enough to call the attention of local and regional media.

The right theme was crucial; it had to be grand, to live within the environment of a top CAT dealer; exotic, to give guests the opportunity to have fun planning out-of-the-ordinary attire and costumes; and politically correct, also. An “Ancient Egypt” concept anchored the transformation of a heavy equipment showroom and service area into Pharaoh’s palace; even mounds of dirt and hard hats made sense as part of archeologists’ gear.
