Putting a Pretty Blue Bow on “Logistics”

Sometimes clients need us to come up with strategic branding…targeted campaigns…killer creative… And sometimes they come to us for impeccable logistics. Take a look for example at last month’s anniversary celebration.

We’ve worked with Lenze for over 25 years, supporting marketing projects of all kinds and shapes and often traveling to the Hanover Fair and to the United Kingdom. This was a very special event, honoring the contribution of hundreds of people who work at Lenze in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, congratulating a very successful management team and offering a great day for all their families too, as a celebration of Lenze’s 75 years in the USA. The Lenze team wanted to make sure everything was running as smoothly as… an inverted drive.

So, Maria Stearns, a very hands-on managing director with solid experience on the Lenze account, rolled up her sleeves and developed and vetted a master list of the best regional suppliers and vendors – including tents, lights, loudspeakers, food, beverages, porta-potties, you name it. She also obtained the numerous super-picky and sometimes obscure permits, authorizations and insurance binders that inevitably grow by the minute once a large outdoors party is being planned. Oh yes, pre-party communications were also important, as well as festive materials and decorations, posters, and presentations.

Was it fun? You bet.
